PLUS is preparing to upgrade its ERP system and chooses to implement WMS simultaneously. This decision reflects the company's focus on enhancing efficiency and optimizing its warehouse and logistics processes. The company considered various solutions and chose LOGIA WMS to boost warehouse optimization at the 45,000 m2 warehouse in Vejen.
The trading company PLUS designs, develops, and sells products for garden design and outdoor living. The company has dealers in Denmark and several Northern European countries and sells its products through these and webshops. Approximately 65% of all orders are sent directly to end customers from the warehouse in Vejen, which places great demands on efficient order handling and shipping.
LOGIA will manage all processes from goods receipt to shipping and ensure an optimal flow in the warehouse. The system controls and coordinates picking flows, performs freight calculations, and handles racking and loading management. In addition, PLUS benefits from LOGIA's ongoing inventory and status counts, which, together with the other functions, aim to reduce internal transportation, save time, and increase efficiency in the warehouse. The warehouse employs 20 people, all of whom will benefit from the system's flexible and versatile features.
PLUS has chosen LOGIA WMS as a SaaS solution with integration to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Thus, they can look forward to ongoing updates and maintenance of the system. PLUS is expected to go live with the WMS solution in October 2024.
