First Lager Strengthens the Operation

Both bustle and lack of space marks the working day at First lager – and now LOGIA is part of the solution.

Recently, more changes have been a reality at First Lager, and the physical location has been the latest change thrown into the pile. The former warehouse was placed in Glostrup, but now the location is to be found elsewhere, as First Lager moved into a bigger warehouse at Greve Strand as of July 1st last year.

First Lager offers storage of goods while also picking, packaging, and shipping of goods for its customers. As the storage space expands, the efficiency must follow. Therefore, the company considered implementing a WMS-solution within the new warehouse building, and after careful consideration, LOGIA’s abonnement solution was chosen for the project.

The new warehouse opens its doors to a high bay warehouse including 6 pallet rack aisles with a semiautomatic forklift truck and a piling area. The entire warehouse is controlled by the new WMS which enables the company’s wish for more systematic work.

The truck moves between the racks and ensures that the goods are picked with maximum efficiency. LOGIA’s WMS enables First Lager to improve the efficiency while also gaining the means to comply with enquiries from both new and already existing customers.
