Lumene Improves the Effectiveness of Packaging Lines with Roima’s Wireless, SaaS-based OEE Solution on Azure
In manufacturing, the amount product variation is growing rapidly while order batch sizes are shrinking. This causes challenges in maximizing production equipment capacity, thus impacting effectiveness. At the same time, there’s a need for further developing operations in maintenance, production planning and shop floor functions to ensure that everything operates seamlessly and delivery promises can be kept.
To meet these challenges, Lumene has deployed a flexible SaaS-based Roima OEE downtime event monitoring solution on Azure, which gathers real-time status information about production machinery and downtime root causes. The solution utilizes the latest, fully wireless sensor technology, with an easy-to-use user interface and versatile reporting tools to support the daily management of production and continuous improvement.
The solution installation was easy and fast. Roima’s cloud service will help us improve our packaging line efficiency by allowing us to use performance indicators and root cause analysis tools in our daily management activities.
