Roima Obtained ISO 9001 Certification for its AVEVA-Related Quality Management Practices

ISO 9001:2015 is the international standard for a quality management system. In order to be certified to the ISO 9001 standard, a company must follow the requirements set forth in it. The standard is used by organizations to demonstrate their ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements and to demonstrate continuous improvement.

The reviewed management system covers Roima’s sales, design and delivery of solutions by executing projects and implementations of multiple AVEVA products and systems. The project was kicked off in February 2020 with the goal of achieving the certificate before year end. This goal was achieved, after 10 months of hard work. Due to the exceptional COVID-19 situation, the certification process was carried out online. Roima’s employees where interviewed via phone to ensure that information is also shared to the teams and everyone has received the needed training.

Roima passed the certification audit with flying colors, without any non-conformities or observations being raised. Instead, Roima received compliments about the new quality management system we have created and about our way of managing project processes. Roima was also praised, among others, for our ongoing improvement efforts, a high level of customer satisfaction and knowledge sharing and handling of organizational knowledge and competence within the company. Also the handling of requirements for products and services was mentioned as a positive impression.

Since the baseline is now in excellent condition, we are looking forward to bringing further benefits to our customers, and as we always aim for the best, we will continue developing our processes to reach even higher levels of quality. The awarding of the certificate is an excellent Christmas gift to the Roima team on the ISO9001 project and to the entire organization, and will give us new energy on our journey of continual improvement to continuously exceed our customers’ expectations.
