Next Generation: Lean System
Lean System ERP will become web-based and can also be delivered as a SaaS-model
Roima Intelligence is a leading software and services company specialized in manufacturing and logistics, with over 270 experts. As a core part of Roima’s product family, Lean System is an enterprise resource planning solution for environments that require flexibility and speed. Our customers manage all processes related to the order-delivery chain. Besides that, they automate and integrate the information needed by different operations into a single system.
In order to accelerate product development, we have started a significant development project to renew the Lean System’s architecture and user interface. We have increased our investments in product development by 50% and changed the way of working in development to SAFe framework.
In this development project the software will be transferred to a web-based solution and furthermore the system can also be delivered as a SaaS-model. The development project will bring significant enhancements to overall usability for various types of devices.
At the same time Lean System’s product management capabilities have been improved, containing better support for product management processes from engineering to manufacturing. It also includes full support to CAD programs. Moreover, Lean System has next generation integration capabilities, so that our customers can build seamless collaboration partner networks’ systems.
Roima has made substantial investments in production planning and control capabilities. This development is taken to the next level as it is becoming an integral part of the new system’s architecture. This ensures that the capabilities existing prior the new Lean System version will continue to provide our customers the best tools for manufacturing and operations management.
The new Lean System version will be ready for delivery in autumn 2021. Customers can migrate to it seamlessly from Lean System version 8.5, as well as from version 8.6 launching next spring.
